Cryptailurus tinaynakti
Taxonomy
Cryptailurus tinaynakti was named by Barrett et al. (2020). Its type specimen is UOMNH F-60275, a mandible ( partial right dentary with p4, m1, and alveolus for m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UO 4358 Hawk Rim, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Mascall Formation of Oregon.
