Mactromeris markleyensis

Bivalvia - Cardiida - Mactridae

Taxonomy
Mactra (Spisula) markleyensis was named by Clark (1938). Its type specimen is UCMP 30852, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP A1297, which is in an Eocene marine sandstone in the Markley Formation of California.

It was recombined as Mactromeris markleyensis by Moore (2003), Hendy (2020).
