Stylolophus major
Taxonomy
Stylolophus major was named by Gheerbrant et al. (2021). Its type specimen is MNHN.F PM53, a partial skull (several pieces of a broken cra- nium of an adult individual including a fragment of the snout with the anterior part of the parietals and the right frontal and ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NE Ouled Abdoun Basin, which is in a Ypresian marine phosphorite in Morocco.
