Myrmicium araripterum
Taxonomy
Myrmicium araripterum was named by Freitas et al. (2020). Its type specimen is SGBFO-PA045, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Inhumas quarry, Santana do Cariri (Crato), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
