Alanops magnificus
Taxonomy
Alanops magnificus was named by Racheboeuf et al. (2002). Its type specimen is MNHN SOT 13446, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Montceau-les-Mines (Sotty MNHN/MHNA coll), which is in a Stephanian B deltaic mudstone in France. It is the type species of Alanops.
