Anacontium carpenteri
Taxonomy
Anacontium carpenteri was named by Raymond (1944). Its type specimen is MCZ 4724, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Midco Locality 15, which is in an Artinskian lacustrine lime mudstone in the Wellington Formation of Oklahoma. It is the type species of Anacontium.
