Andersoniella longispina
Taxonomy
Euproops longispina was named by Packard (1885). Its type specimen is USNM 38857 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Butler mine in Pittston, which is in a Westphalian D terrestrial shale/anthracite in the Pottsville Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was synonymized subjectively with Euproops danae by Babcock and Merriam (2000); it was recombined as Andersoniella longispina by Lamsdell (2020).
