Prestwichianella cambrensis
Taxonomy
Euproops cambrensis was named by Dix and Pringle (1929). Its type specimen is NMW 29198 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ocean Colliery, Blaengarw, above the New Seam, which is in a Westphalian A fluvial-lacustrine shale in the South Wales Lower Coal Measures Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was synonymized subjectively with Euproops danae by Babcock and Merriam (2000); it was recombined as Prestwichianella cambrensis by Lamsdell (2020).
