Taxonomy
Bellinuroopsis rossicus was named by Chernyshev (1933). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near Lebedjan, which is in a Famennian carbonate dolomite in the Lebedjan Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Bellinuroopsis, Neobelinuropsis.
It was recombined as Neobelinuropsis rossicus by Størmer (1955).
