Shpineviolimulus jakovlevi
Taxonomy
Paleolimulus jakovlevi was named by Glushenko and Ivanov (1961). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near Novopavlovka Village, which is in a Gzhelian fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Araukaritovaya Formation of Ukraine. It is the type species of Shpineviolimulus.
It was recombined as Shpineviolimulus jakovlevi by Bicknell et al. (2020) and Lamsdell (2020).
