Casterolimulus kletti
Taxonomy
Casterolimulus kletti was named by Holland et al. (1975). Its type specimen is USNM 206801, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Highway 83 north of Linton, which is in a Maastrichtian estuary/bay siltstone in the Fox Hills Formation of North Dakota. It is the type species of Casterolimulus.
