Mesolimulus tafraoutensis
Taxonomy
Mesolimulus tafraoutensis was named by Lamsdell et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MSNM i26844, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gara Sbaa (MSNM collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Akrabou Formation of Morocco.
