Taxonomy
Estheriina extuberata was named by Jones and Woodward (1899). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Frankfurt-on-the-Main, Stegocephalen-Kalk, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian fluvial-lacustrine shale in the Sötern Formation of Germany.
