Taxonomy
Trentepohlia (Paramongoma) miocenica was named by Mederos and Wang (2020). Its type specimen is MZB 2019-0707, an exoskeleton (body), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, El Valle locality (MCNB/MZB collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Yanigua Formation of the Dominican Republic.
