Karesmina punicea
Taxonomy
Karesmina punicea was named by Lambkin (2020). Its type specimen is QMF60134, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is 5 Mile Creek, western shore of Lake Wivenhoe, which is in an Anisian terrestrial siltstone in the Esk Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Karesmina.
