Taxonomy
Hnamadawgyia macularis was named by Wang et al. (2019). Its type specimen is CNU-TRI-MA-2016505, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (CNU collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
It was recombined as Neucentropus (Hnamadawgyia) macularis by Wichard (2021).
