Taxonomy
Anochetus miosumatrensis was named by Ngô-Muller et al. (2021). Its type specimen is JMP2362 , an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Sumatran amber, Sinamar area (Pouillon collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Indonesia.
