Absarokius metoecus

Taxonomy
Absarokius metoecus was named by Bown and Rose (1987). Its type specimen is USGS 492, a mandible (right mandibular fragment with part of p3, p4-m3, partially resorbed alveolus forp2, and posterior part of alveolus for canine), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Reservoir Creek Bonanza, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
