Taxonomy
Mulinia panzana was named by Loel and Corey (1932). Its type specimen is UCMP 31792 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. A505, Anderson Creek Canyon, foothills of La Panza Range, which is in a Miocene coastal siliciclastic in the Vaqueros Formation of California.
It was recombined as Pseudocardium panzanum by Moore (2003).
