Djourabus dabba
Taxonomy
Djourabus dabba was named by Peigne et al. (2008). Its type specimen is TM 293-01-006 and TM 293-01-053, a mandible (fragment of right hemimandible with m1, and anterior part of the mandible with left canine (broken), most probably belonging to the same individual), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Toros-Menalla (TM 293), which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in Chad. It is the type species of Djourabus.
