W. J. Sando 1983Stelechophyllum with corallite diameter 5.5 to 15 mm and 12 to 20 major septa that ordinarily ex-tend from the columella across the tabularium but seldom extend into the dissepimentarium. Minor septa absent to well developed. Columella absent to very thick. Dissepimentarium composed of 1 to 4 rows of small to large dissepiments. Axial tabulae convex to tent-shaped, spaced about 0.5 mm apart. Peripheral tabellae poorly to well developed. Ratio of tabularium width to corallite diameter about 0.3 to 0.4. Increase is peripheral, axial, or intermural.
