Eoteredon lacoi
Taxonomy
Eoteredon lacoi was named by Archibald et al. (2021). Its type specimen is FOBU13582, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Smith Hollow quarry (18-inch layer), which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Eoteredon.
