Taxonomy
Limulus liasokeuperinus was named by Braun (1860). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Teufelsgrabens, near Meyernberg, which is in a Hettangian fluvial-deltaic shale in Germany.
It was recombined as Limulitella liasokeuperensis by Lamsdell (2020); it was recombined as Limulitella liasokeuperinus by Bicknell et al. (2021).
