Scombroclupea javieri
Taxonomy
Scombroclupea javieri was named by Than-Marchese et al. (2020). Its type specimen is IHNFG-5297, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is El Chango Quarry, which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Cintalapa Formation of Mexico.
