Valdicopis tonyi
Taxonomy
Valdicopis tonyi was named by Li et al. (2021). Its type specimen is NIGP175592, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Clockhouse Brickworks (NIGP collection), which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal sandstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Valdicopis.
