Taxonomy
Arapahovius gazini was named by Savage and Waters (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arapahovius Paleofaunule, which is in a Lysitean/Lostcabinian terrestrial horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Arapahovius.
