Conocoryphe bucephala was named by Belt (1868). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Beltella bucephala by Lake (1919); it was recombined as Olenus bucephala by Henningsmoen (1957); it was recombined as Parabolinoides bucephalus by Rushton (1968).
