Taxonomy
Calocoris antennatus was named by Statz and Wagner (1950). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Statz Collection), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - small shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Mermitelocerus antennatus by Kim et al. (2021).
