Dysmorphoptiloides breviptera
Taxonomy
Gallegomorphoptila breviptera was named by Martins-Neto and Gallego (2003). Its type specimen is PULR-I 265, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Rio Gualo (5th cycle), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - large claystone in the Los Rastros Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Gallegomorphoptila.
It was recombined as Dysmorphoptiloides breviptera by Fu et al. (2021).
