Carpodaptes stonleyi
Taxonomy
Carpodaptes stonleyi was named by Fox (2002). Its type specimen is UALVP 8744, a mandible (incomplete left dentary containing p4, m1-2, and alveoli for i1-2 (both incomplete), c1, and p3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Roche Percée, which is in a Ti4 alluvial fan sandstone/siltstone in the Ravenscrag Formation of Canada.
