Carpolestes dubius

Taxonomy
Carpolestes dubius was named by Jepsen (1930). Its type specimen is Princeton No. 13275, a mandible (right lower jaw with P2-M4, root of ?I, and alveolus of P1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Princeton Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Carpodaptes dubius by Szalay and Delson (1979).
