Empria sammuti
Taxonomy
Empria sammuti was named by Nel et al. (2022). Its type specimen is IGR-PAL-2860, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sainte-Reine, Foufouilloux outcrop (IGR collection), which is in a Messinian crater lake marl in France.
