Monogedania clunipes

Taxonomy
Ceratopogon clunipes was named by Loew (1850). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Monohelea clunipes by Szadziewski (1988), Szadziewski (1993), Borkent and Wirth (1997), Sontag and Szadziewski (2011), Borkent (2013), Szadziewski (2018), Borkent and Dominiak (2020); it was recombined as Monogedania clunipes by Szadziewski et al. (2022).
