Taxonomy
Acropiesta perrichoti was named by Jouault and Nel (2020). Its type specimen is IGR.BA-016, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (IGR Rennes collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Pantolyta perrichoti by Brazidec and Vilhelmsen (2022).
