Caborcella collaris
Taxonomy
Schistometopus collaris was named by Rasetti (1951). Its type specimen is USNM 116123, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is W20d. Eiffel Peak, which is in a Delamaran marine limestone/shale in the Mt. Whyte Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Caborcella collaris by Sundberg (2004), Handkamer et al. (2022).
