Limulus oculatus
Taxonomy
Limulus oculatus was named by Kutorga (1838). It is not extant. Its type locality is Dourassoff Eurypterid, which is in an Artinskian terrestrial sandstone in the Kupfersandsteins Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Campylocephalus.
It was recombined as Campylocephalus oculatus by Eichwald (1860), Waterston (1957) and Braddy et al. (2023).
