Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
R. Croitor et al. 2021A medium-sized deer. Antlers are relatively short and robust. The first ramification is situated very close to the burr. The first tine is simple, cylinder-shaped with an ovoid cross-section. The angle of the first ramification is rather obtuse and vary between 90˚ and 115˚. The beam cross-section above the first ramification is rounded- triangular. The antler beam below the second ramification is flattened anteroposteriorly and sharply curved toward the anterior. The second ramification lies in the transversal to the body axis plane. The part of antler with second ramification is not twisted. The angle of the second ramification is acute. The second tine is pointed medially, upward and toward the anterior. The distal portion of antler is directed toward the anterior.
