It was corrected as Chuanoproetus by Jell and Adrain (2002).
It was assigned to Drevermanniinae by Feist (1992); to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Cyrtosymbolinae by Basse and Lemke (2020), Bault et al. (2021).
It was corrected as Chuanoproetus by Jell and Adrain (2002).
