Taxonomy
Xanthopimpla ciboisae was named by Klopfstein (2022). Its type specimen is FUR-10046, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Skive kommune, Silstrup member, which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp diatomite in the Fur Formation of Denmark.
