Taeniopteris ensis

Taxonomy
Stangerites ensis was named by Oldham (1863). It is not extant. Its type locality is Burio, which is in a Jurassic fluvial horizon in the Rajmahal Formation of India.

It was recombined as Angiopteridium ensis by Schimper (1869); it was recombined as Taeniopteris ensis by Feistmantel (1876), Lakhanpal et al. (1976); it was recombined as Morrisia ensis by Chandra and Tewari (1991).
