Paleolimulus mazonensis (horseshoe crab)
Taxonomy
Paleolimulus mazonensis was named by Bicknell et al. (2022) [holotype includes FMNH PE 81596a (cast) and FMNH PE 81596b (mold)]. Its type specimen is FMNH PE 81596, a cephalothorax (An articulated prosoma (synonym of cephalothorax), thoracetron (synonym of opisthosoma), and complete telson), and it is a cast.
