Barghoornia oblongifolia
Taxonomy
Barghoornia oblongifolia was named by Wolfe and Wehr (1987). Its type specimen is USNM 32695A, B, a leaf, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Republic Locality 8428, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian lacustrine horizon in the Klondike Mountain Formation of Washington. It is the type species of Barghoornia.
