Tyrannomecia inopinata
Taxonomy
Tyrannomecia inopinata was named by Jouault and Nel (2021). Its type specimen is MNHN.FA71374, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Menat (Olivier collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France. It is the type species of Tyrannomecia.
