Cretobibio montsecensis

Taxonomy
Cretobibio montsecensis was named by Skartveit and Ansorge (2020). Its type specimen is SNSB-BSPG 2020 I 4, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Cabrua outcrop, Sierra del Montsec (Ansorge FGWG coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the la Pedrera de Rubies Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Cretobibio.
