Damghanampyx ginteri
Taxonomy
Damghanampyx ginteri was named by Ghobadi Pour et al. (2007). Its type specimen is EUIT5067 (complete specimen) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Simeh-Kuh section, "T" bed, which is in a Tremadoc marine siltstone in the Simeh-Kuh Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Damghanampyx.
