Tanyocicada lapidescens

Taxonomy
Oncotympana lapidescens was named by Zhang (1989). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China. It is the type species of Tanyocicada.

It was recombined as Hyalessa lapidescens by Moulds (2018); it was recombined as Tanyocicada lapidescens by Moulds (2020).
