Taxonomy
Ampulicomorpha testacea was named by Olmi et al. (2020). Its type specimen is DAF3302, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Hkamti amber (DAFS collection), which is in an Albian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
