Taxonomy
Tennentsia koreana was named by Nel et al. (2022). Its type specimen is GNUE112006, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Myungcheon-dong, Boryeong, which is in a Norian lacustrine shale in the Amisan Formation of South Korea.
