Glanomerope virgoferroa
Taxonomy
Glanomerope virgoferroa was named by Poschmann and Nel (2021). Its type specimen is NHMMZ PE 2021/5009-LS, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Excavation east of Niedermoschel, road to Alsenz, which is in an Asselian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Meisenheim Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Glanomerope.
