Taxonomy
Ginkgoites rajmahalensis was named by Sah and Jain (1965). It is not extant. Its type locality is Sakrigali Ghat, which is in a Jurassic fluvial horizon in the Rajmahal Formation of India.
It was recombined as Ginkgo rajmahalensis by Zeba-Bano et al. (1979) and Chandra and Tewari (1991).
